MURPHY, Mary Teresa — Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at Hoyles Escasoni Nursing Home on February 6, 2009, Mary Teresa Murphy (nee Swain) age 78. Predeceased by sons Joe, Jimmy and grandson Christopher Swain. Leaving to mourn sons and daughters: Pat (Joanne), Uriel (Ron), Frank (Pauline), Eileen, Chris (Carl), Clara (Hughie), Mike (Lucile), Margie (John), Linda (Steve), William (Lisa), Gerard (Lana), Wayne (Joanne). 23 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, sister Elizabeth (Lizzy) O’Dea. Special nieces: Marguerite O’Brien and Maureen Walsh. Special nephew: Brian O’Dea. Also a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls on Sunday, February 8 and Monday February 9 from 2 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial from Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Calvert on Tuesday, February 10, at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Trinity R.C. Cemetery, Ferryland. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
