Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, May 11, 2008. Avora Pinhorn of Winterton, age 60. Leaving to mourn husband Peter of Winterton, daughters; Michelle (Carl Pike) of Winterton, Suzanne (Jamie Piercey) of Cold Lake, Alta.; grandchild Jayden; sister Effie Deering; brothers Ralph (Rose Reid), Hubert (Carol Reid), Wilson (Marilyn Reid), Charlie (Rona Reid); sisters-in-law; Alice (Frank Cumby), Rhoda (Robert Hedd); brothers-in-law: Norman Pinhorn (Maxine), Henry Pinhorn (Edyie), Randy Pinhorn (Minnie); Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation hours will be held at Green's Funeral Home in Winterton on Monday and Tuesday from 2 - 5 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m., and on Wednesday at 10 a.m. - 12 noon. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. from St. Luke's Anglican Church, Winterton. Interment to follow is St. Luke's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Avora Pinhorn Trust Fund or Daffodil Place.
