It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Floyd Ralph Pretty at age 49 years. A long time employee of Double G. Trucking, Corner Brook. Predeceased by his father Robert Pretty Sr. in 1986; brother Albert Pretty in 2004. Leaving to mourn wife Ang; sons Adam (Amanda), Dylan and Shane; special grandson Tyson; mother Jean Pretty; brothers: Robert Jr., Keith (Cheryl), and Paul; sisters: Barbara (David Lewis), Donna (Charlie Burton), Marilyn, and Sharon (Rhonda); father-in-law James Pittman (Elizabeth); brother-in-law Danny (Tina); sisters-in-law: Lisa (Mike), Margie (Shawn), Susan (Harvey), Michelle (Mario); as well as a number of nephews and nieces. Long time friends Arnold and Diane Penney. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road. Visitation from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. Funeral service from the Salvation Army St. John's West Corps, Mundy Pond Rd. on Wednesday May 14, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Blackmarsh Road.
