(Burry) Passed away May 11, 2008, at Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, Elsie Granter of Bishop's Falls, formerly of Greenspond, age 86 years. Predeceased by husband Duncan (Don), son Clarence Gordon, parents Fred and Elizabeth Burry, sisters: Priscilla, Ethel, Marion, Alice, brother Gordon. Left to mourn sons: Fred (Linda), Bishop's Falls and Maurice, Bishop's Falls; daughters: Bernice (Joe Norris), Sandy Point and Linda (Gerald Thorne), Bishop's Falls; brothers: Cecil Burry, Fred (Carrie) Burry, Portugal Cove; seven grandchildren: Stacey Norris (Preston), Susan MacInnis (Trevor), Brian Granter (Natalie), Scott Granter (Janice), Andrew Granter, Stephen Thorne (Katie), Krista Thorne; three great-grandchildren: Kalee and Madison Granter, Ainsleigh MacInnis; brothers-in-law: Edward Kean, Edgar Parsons, Lloyd Biggs, Fred Olive and sisters-in-law Mary Burry and Effie Granter and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. Charles Harris will conduct funeral services at St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Bishop's Falls, Wednesday, May 14, 2008. Interment will be at St. Andrew's Anglican Cemetery, Bishop's Falls.
