(nee Murphy) Passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, May 11th, 2008, Josephine Mary Oakley (nee Murphy), age 73 years. Predeceased by her brother Thomas and stepson James Oakley. Left with cherished memories her husband Andrew; five sons: Harry (Gail), John (Justina), David (Marjorie), Jim (Sharron) and Albert (Carolyn); three daughters: Betty Summers (Karl Butler), Charmaine Summers and Joanne Summers; stepchildren: Mark Oakley, Barbara Rymes (Gordon), Peggy Oakley, Andrea Oakley, Brenda Oakley, Madonna Whalen (Larry) and Darlene Oakley and Deborah Oakley; brothers: Alfred Murphy (Betty), Hubert (Darlene) and Reginald, David (Lilly); sister Madonna French (David), Linda Dobbin (John), Joan Myles and Margaret Murphy; also a large number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Rd. Visitation Monday 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Tuesday 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10 a.m. from St. Thomas of Villa Nova. Cremation to follow.
