Peacefully at the Belleville General Hospital on Friday, March 7, 2008 Alva Irene Gorrie of Belleville and formerly of London in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Arnold Gorrie (1966). Dear daughter of the late Foster and Maude Dartt. Loving mother of Maxine and her husband Bob MacDonald of Belleville and the late Gwen Brown. Proud grandmother of Michael and Valerie MacDonald of Wooler, Ont., Jeffrey and Susan MacDonald of Belleville, Steven Brown of London, Chris and Cheryl Brown of Ilderton, Lori Dunn of Norwood and five great-grandchildren: Tyler Brown, Nicole MacDonald, Eric MacDonald, Mitchell MacDonald and Celynn Brown. Dear sister of Greta Henderson of Truro, N.S. Loved by her son-in-law Don Brown of London. Predeceased by her sisters Edna Kennedy and Mary McKillop and her brothers John Dartt and Donald Dartt.
