Carman Boyd Langille, beloved husband of Eden and son of the late Charles and Mary (Swan) Langille, passed away Jan. 2, 2007 in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Central New Annan, Dec. 3, 1937 on the family farm, he stayed on the farm all of his life helping his parents with its operation and cutting logs from the forested land. Surviving are his wife and best friend, the former Eden Amos (Cunningham); step-son, Amos Cunningham (Winona), North Battleford, Sask.; step-grandchildren, Josiah, Matthew and Joyanna Dawn, all at home; brother, Clifford, Bible Hill; sisters, Sadie Mae Adams (Russell), Westchester, Helen MacIntosh, New Annan; Frances Leavitt, Rockfield; mother-in-law, Margaret Amos, Little Shemoque; brothers-in-law, Jerry Amos, Little Shermoque; David Amos, Port Elgin; sisters-in-law, Lillian Langille, Ontario; Roberta Patriquin (Robert), Tatamagouche; Judy Pope (William), Caribou; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Lawson, Richard and Sherman; father-in-law, Robert Amos; brothers-in-law, David Leavitt and Edwin MacIntosh; sisters-in-law, Shirley, Lee and Willena. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5, and funeral service 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, both in Coulter’s Funeral Home, Tatamagouche, Rev. Jeff Andrews officiating. Burial will be in Tatamagouche Mountain Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation or North Shore Health Services Foundation.
