Cyrus Hugh "Cy" Langille, 84, Truro passed away June 16, 2007 in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Brule, he was a son of the late D. Lawrence and Mary Ann (Gunn) Langille. He was a retired auto mechanic having worked at A.E. Murdocks, Goodspeeds and retiring from Stuart Pontiac. He had just recently received his 55 year pin from the Royal Canadian Legion. He also served in the Canadian Armed Forces. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, travelling and was a great lover of both gardening and music. He is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, the former Irene Langille; brother, Sandy (Margaret), Marshville; sister, Grace, Marshville. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. with a Royal Canadian Legion tribute service at 6:45 p.m.; memorial service on Wednesday at 2 p.m., all in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, with Rev. Gordon MacLean officiating. Interment in Lockerby Cemetery, Tatamagouche. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or the Colchester Regional Hospital.
