David Wayne Johnston, 47, Bible Hill, passed away suddenly at home on Aug. 13, 2008. Born Dec. 7, 1960 in Truro, he was a son of Betty (MacKay) Johnston and the late Blair Johnston. Wayne worked for many years at Fowler Construction and ended his career working construction in areas of Bermuda destroyed by hurricanes. Wayne was a member of the Truro Horseman’s Club and an avid card player. He was able to spend the last years of his life with his grandson Donovan and his beloved dog Chico. Wayne is survived by sons Andy (Jessica) Lewis, Donnie (Jackie); daughter Jamie-Lynn (Joey); grandson Donovan; brother Curtis (Lynn); sister Lynn; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Donna (Lewis). No flowers by request. Donations in his memory may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Visitation will be held on Saturday, Aug. 16 from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro with Rev.
