Tedford: Elsie Eileen, 77, of Mosswood Lane, Valley, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2009, at home. She was born in Truro and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by sons, Randy, Truro; Dale (Heather), Charlottetown, P.E.I.; daughter, Susan (Ken) Archibald, Bible Hill; grandchildren: Samantha, Sean, Tasha, Damon, Davin, Zachery, Chelsey, Khale, Adam, Andy; four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, William Douglas; daughter, Debbie; son, Michael; several brothers and sisters. No visitation by request. Funeral service will be held 11a.m. Friday, January 16, in the Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, Rev. Brian DeLong officiating, with a reception to follow in the funeral home. Interment to be held at a later date in the Lower Onslow Clarke Cemetery, Lower Onslow. No flowers by request. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
