Eric Wayne Taylor Sr. — 67, Truro, passed away in Colchester Regional Hospital on Oct. 29, 2008 after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Truro, he was a son of the late Lewis “Button” and Mary (MacLean) Taylor. Eric was a resident of Townsview Estates in Truro for a number of years. Eric is survived by his daughter, Georgina (Mark) MacCallum; grandchildren, Brandon, Danielle and Erica, all of Truro; sister, Frances “Peggy” (Francis) Stewart; brother, Ian (Kenda); several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Eric Taylor Jr.; brother, Frank “Sonny”; sisters, Helen Buchanan and Nora Crowe. Cremation has taken place. There will be no funeral services at his request.
