She was predeceased by her beloved and caring husband, Paul Stringer; parents Lorne and Joan Jordan; brother Bert Jordan; two brothers-in-law Paul Goffinet and Lee Lloyd; nephew Chad Lloyd; and mother-in-law Irene Stringer. Lorraine was born in Saskatoon on August 27, 1942. She attended school in Cadillac and received a Teacher\'s Degree from the University of Regina. Lorraine worked at the Rolling Hills Villa in Ponteix, the Royal Bank, Adam\'s Rib Lounge, Cadillac Hotel and Cadillac Co-op. She was a member of the Cadillac Town and Country Club and School Club. Lorraine enjoyed reading, curling, crocheting, knitting, crafting, playing piano, quilting, sewing, cooking, watching the Lonestar Channel and baseball on T.V. She remarried on December 5, 1987, to Paul Stringer. Their home was a very welcoming space. There were often people gathering there. They enjoyed traveling, spending time at their cabin at Lac Pelletier, camping and hosting family and friends. They also stayed very busy at home on the farm with the daily operations. All of her life, Lorraine had been determined or more accurately down right stubborn, so this served her well after her stroke, helping her through her therapy and partial recovery. Through all of her adversities she was not one to complain. She maintained a positive attitude and had a good sense of humour. Lorraine was again devastated when we lost Paul. He was very dear to her and their bond was something special. She continued to live at the Palliser in Swift Current for her last years and stayed in touch with family and friends through phone calls and loved her trips to Medicine Hat to be with family, most recently at Christmas. Lorraine has left us and moved on to another place but we are sure she will approach it as she has through her life; at ramming speed, full on, straight ahead. In her memory, friends may make a memorial donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Saskatchewan Epilepsy. Warren\'s Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
