In loving memory of our mother, we wish to her passing away peacefully on January, 29, 2008 in her 86th year in Westbrook, BC. Eileen leaves to mourn; two cherished daughters; Elizabeth (Gary) Pomfrey of Peachland, BC, Marilyn (Ron) Anderson of Calgary; six grandchildren; Donald, Gregory, Jeff, Bryan, Brad and Ashley and eleven great grandchildren. Eileen is also survived by two brothers; Roy Slack of London, Ont. And Frank Slack of Truro, NS. Sister Jessie Parks and sister-in-laws; Eleanor (Gus Prentice) of Springhill and Muriel Doyle of Pugwash, NS. Eileen was involved with the UC Women and Choir in Springhill, Yellowknife, NWT and Medicine Hat, Alberta. She enjoyed gardening, camping and fishing. At Eileen’s request cremation took place in Kelowna, BC at Everden Rest with internment to follow in the Spring (April) at Sarmis Memorial Chapel in Medicine Hat, Alberta.
