HEGEDUS - Lorraine Rose (nee Stark) May 6, 1942 - April 12, 2008 Lorraine was born on May 6, 1942 in Stratford, Ontario and she passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at the Victoria Hospital. She resided in Saskatoon, SK. when she was an infant and later moved to Prince Albert where she completed her education. Lorraine trained as a Nurses Aide at the University Hospital in Saskatoon and then moved back to Prince Albert to work at the local hospital. When she had children, she decided to stay at home and become a homemaker. While at home she enjoyed piano, gardening, friends and crafts of all types, but especially needle point, knitting, sewing and making her famous "elves". Lorraine loved to spend time with her grandchildren and her little slice of paradise - Candle Lake. Lorraine is survived by her husband Les Hegedus; her son Allan (Beverley) Hegedus of Regina; her daughter Debra (Gord) Hobson of Prince Albert; grandchildren Rylan, Cole, Brooke and Kennedy Hobson of Prince Albert; stepbrothers; stepsisters; cousins; aunts; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; extended family and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predecease by her mother Thelma Stark and father Charles Stark. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 150 Albert Street, Regina, SK S4R 9Z9 or the Canadian Cancer Society, 54 - 11th Street East, Prince Albert, SK S6V 0Z9. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at Gray's Funeral Chapel, 575 28th Street West, Prince Albert, Sask., with Diane McDuff officiating.
