MR. GERALD ERWIN NYLAND 1940 - 2008 Mr. Gerald Nyland late of Prince Albert passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2008. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 15 from River Park Memorial Chapel. Reverend Rick Martin will officiate. Gerry is survived by his daughter Michelle (Raymond) Roy; his son Brian (Donna Merasty) Nyland; his grandchildren Jennifer-Anne, Andrew and step-granddaughter Julia Roy, Meelin, Jessica, Kevin Nyland and step-granddaughters Stacey, Kalie, Tricia; his special friend Diane Pilling; his sister Alice Spezowka; his brothers-in-law Ruben Peterson, George Spezowka along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Sylvia Nyland; his parents Ivor & Anna Nyland; his brother and three sisters. He enjoyed spending time at the lakes with wife and friends. Always looking for the big one. It is the family's request that those wishing to place memorials may do so to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
