TAYLOR - Joyce Lois (nee Gariepy) October 8, 1950 - December 24, 2008 Joyce was born on October 8, 1950 in Prince Albert, SK and passed away at the Victoria Hospital on December 24, 2008 after a brief hospital stay, save a lengthy illness. All who knew mom will miss her unceasing generosity, sincerity and strength. It is difficult to express how truly remarkable and courageous she was. Mom's unbreakable spirit is what we will miss most. She was a wife, mom, grandma, gramma Joyce, aunty, friend, girlfriend, co-worker and a neighbor. Mom had many roles in our lives, mostly she was a safe and soft place to fall. Her home was a haven for all she loved. She was well known for friendship, food and fun.. She sure could cook and words cannot express how she will be missed. Joyce is survived by her husband Dan; her children Daniel, Pamela (Rob) Peristy, Karen (Rene) LaVallee; her grandsons Brett, Taylor & Jesse; as well as a large loving extended family. She was predeceased by her daughter Tracey; her parents Elsie and Charles Gariepy and her parents-in-law Arthur and Josephine Taylor. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to Charity of Donor's Choice. Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at Gray's Funeral Chapel, 575 - 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Colonel Robert Chapman officiating.
