Joyanne Stene McLeod January 25, 1967 - January 1, 2009 It is with great sadness that the families of Joy announce her passing at the Victoria Hospital on January 1, 2009. She was surrounded by many family members. Joy was a fun loving, happy, energetic person until back pain became unbearable. She loved people, particularly children. Joy received her education in Albertville, Meath Park, and SIAST. She worked at the Venice House for many years and was an excellent waitress. Joy is survived by her husband Carmin Stene and her beloved daughter Kelsie, parents Lorne & Muriel McLeod, brothers Rob (Pat), Warren (Erin), Dawn (Rob), nieces and nephews Chantelle, Danielle and Tyler, Kenneth and Patrick, her pets Prince, Sika, and Mollie. She is survived by her biological family, Maryanne Hastings of La Ronge and siblings Hector, Richard, Sam, Martin, Sandra, Jeff and Ryan. She was predeceased by her infant son Devin Robert Thistlewaite and her father Norman Hastings. Memorial Service will be held on Monday, January 12 at 2:00 PM at the Alliance Church, 6th Ave. and 28th St. West. Pastor Ron Goerzen officiating.
