SOPP, Dorothy Scott. Born August 7, 1924, died January 31, 2009. Dorothy was born in Brailes, United Kingdom and came to Canada after WWII. She met and married Walter W. Sopp and they settled in Regina. She co-founded the DeGroot School in Regina and had a lifetime of memories of her fellow teachers and beloved students. She always loved children and animals. Dot and Wally lived over the years in Regina, Yorkton, Prince Albert and Meath Park. They finally settled in Cadillac where she lived out her years under the watchful eye of her dear friends and caring neighbours. She is survived by her daughter Susan (Gordon), their children, Jamaica, Cody, Zak, Mimosa and Leif and her great grandchildren: Wyatt, Abby, Mia, Gemma, Marley and Kayin; and her son Edward (Joanne). There will be no service on her request. Donation may be made in her name to the Swift Current SPCA. She's finally reunited with her dear Wally.
