(aged 89 years) Passed away peacefully in the loving presence of family members at Carbonear General Hospital, May 19, 2008, Mary Cooney, North River. Predeceased by her husbands, Dennis Cooney, Michael Brazil and her two children, Michael and Mary. Leaving to mourn: Anne (John), Ellen (George), John D. (Renee), Craig (Madonna), Chris (Linda), Loretta (John), Paula (Jim), and special friend Leonard Samways. Mary, the last living member of a family of 12 children, leaves with fond and wonderful memories, 19 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted for the celebration of Mass in Mary's memory on Vision Television. Date of the broadcast will be published in the parish bulletin. Resting at Moore's Funeral Home, Clarke's Beach. Visitation Tuesday 2-9 p.m., Wednesday 2 - 9 p.m. Funeral mass on Thursday, May 22, 2008 at 11 a.m. from All Hallow's Church, North River.
