Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's, on Tuesday, May 20, 2008, Dermot Kenny, of Fermeuse, aged 80 years. Predeceased by his loving wife, Rose; parents John (Jack) and Gertrude; brothers: Bill, Dick and Ned and sister Maurita. Leaving to mourn his loss are his five sons: Rick (Janet), Neil (Jackie), Craig (Wilhelmina), Wayne (Hedy), Darryl (Rhonda) and two daughters: Jackie (John Boland) and Donna; fifteen grandchildren: Lee, Mark Grant, Nicole, Gemma, Kristopher, Katharina, Lacy, Nicholas, Noelle, Kyle, Ireland, Shane, Liam and Abby and two sisters: Dorothy Penney and Madeline O'Toole; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Fahey's Funeral Home, Fermeuse, with visitation on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 from 7 p.m. - 10 p.m., Thursday, May 22, 2008 from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday, May 23, 2008 at 9 a.m. with the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Fermeuse with interment to follow at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery. Reception to follow in Fermeuse Hall. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in his memory to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Clinic.
