WESTVILLE – Alexandra (Allie) Campbell, age 97, Westville, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2007, in Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow. Born in Watervale, she was the last surviving member of her family, and the youngest daughter of the late Alexander and Margaret (Sutherland) MacLeod. She was a member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Westville, and the Barbara MacKenzie Auxiliary. Mrs. Campbell is survived by several nieces, nephews, and friend Edna MacDonald. She was predeceased by her first husband, Hugh Fraser, and second husband, Clarence Campbell; sisters: Tena Langille, Lena Munro, Margaret MacLeod, Jessie Fraser, and Roxella MacLeod; brothers: Colin, Jonah, George and infant brother, John MacLeod. Visitations will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Her funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday from Eagles Funeral Chapel with Rev. Glenn Cooper officiating. Burial will be in the Auburn Cemetery, Westville. Family flowers only. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Andrew’s Church, Westville.
