MacPHERSON’S MILLS – Andrea Dawn Perrin, age 26, of MacPherson’s Mills passed away on Sunday December 23, 2007, in MacPherson’s Mills. Born in New Glasgow she was a daughter of Doug and Debbie (Cameron) Perrin. Andrea was a lifelong resident of MacPherson’s Mills. She began her education in Thorburn, and went on to graduate from East Pictou Rural High. Andrea then went on to obtain her B.A. from Saint F.X. and her B.Ed. from U.N.B. She began her teaching career this year at Walter Duggan Consolidated School in Westville. Andrea attended Union Presbyterian Church, Thorburn. Andrea enjoyed going for walks, reading and exploring ways to continue her career. Spending time with friends, her sister Nicole and her brother Chris was especially important to Andrea. Surviving are parents Doug and Debbie Perrin; a brother, Chris of MacPherson’s Mills; a sister, Nicole, of Thorburn; stepmother, Patricia Taylor; stepfather, John Cameron; a number of aunts , uncles and cousins. Andrea was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Wilburn and Annie Cameron; and paternal grandparents, George and Ruth Perrin. Visitation will be on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the H.W.Angus Funeral Home New Glasgow. Cremation will follow with a memorial service at 1 p.m. on Sunday from the Union Presbyterian Church ,Thorburn, with Rev. Jeff Lackie officiating. Burial will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens Alma. Family Flowers only please. Donations in memory of Andrea may be made to a trust fund for the purchase of books for the children of Walter Duggan School or to the Canadian Breast Cancer Society.
