Passed away suddenly at the Miller Center on Wednesday, May 21, 2008, after a brief illness, Frank Barron Jr. Age 55 years. Recently retired employee of St. Clare's Mercy Hospital. Predeceased by his mother Isobel (1998) and brother-in-law Herbert Jr. Squires (2006). Leaving to mourn their sad loss are his wife of 33 years Christine (nee Cooper); daughter Nicole and son Matthew. Also leaving his father Frank Sr.; brothers: Leo, Gus and Gerard (Betty); sisters: Pamela (David Donovan), Carol (Doug Sweeney), Elizabeth (Clarence Head); sisters-in-law: Mary (Stephen Kosztandy), Betty Scott, Shirley (Don Cofield), Doreen Squires, Marina Pope; and a large circle of other relatives and friends; and his special canine companion and friend Kodi. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Friday from 7-9 p.m., then on Saturday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., and then on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. Funeral service to be held from Cochrane Street United Church on Monday, May 26, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Frank was a recipient of an organ donation and would like to have donations in his memory made to the Organ Transplant Fund or flowers are gratefully accepted.
