LOWER SACKVILLE – Word was received October 30 of the sudden death of Cecil W. (Nick) Nickerson in his 73rd year, in Lower Sackville. He spent his life in Stellarton where he joined the navy at 18. He was always proud of his Red Row roots and made it home for Stellarton Days. He was the son of the late Harriet (Barraclough) and Austin Nickerson. He is survived by his son, Blair and wife Sue and two grandsons; sisters, Laura (Hardy) Allard, Stella (Bud) Campbell; many nieces and nephews who will miss his visits and funny stories. He was predeceased by his wife, Doreen; sisters: Florence (Les Smith); Ethel (Swen Jenson); Mae (Bill Norris); brothers: Bill, Harold, Percy, Joseph. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
