THORBURN - Darlene Gail Robson, 42, Thorburn, passed away in Gatineau, Quebec. Born in New Glasgow, Darlene was a daughter of Phyllis (McInnis) Robson, Thorburn and the late Charles Robson. Darlene was a waitress in various restaurants in Pictou County. She enjoyed bingo and knitting. She had resided in Quebec on several occasions, most recently moving to Gatineau two years ago. Besides her mother, Darlene will be deeply missed by her daughters, Jodi-Anne and Tanya; brothers, John (Heather), Lismore; Derrick (Linda), French River; sisters, Cecelia (Harold) Lowe, McLellan's Mtn.; Margie Robson, Trenton; Brenda (Jose) Menezes, Trenton; step-father, Vernon MacLeod, Thorburn; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Charles. Cremation has taken place. Visitations will be held 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with Father Colin MacKinnon officiating. Interment will be in Hillside, Trenton.
