WESTVILLE - Doris Mae (MacNutt) Ritcey, 88, Westville, Cowan Road, Westville, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2007, at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Westville, she was the daughter of the late George and Mina (Hubley) MacNutt. Doris and her brother, Harley, moved from Westville to join their sister, Mona, in Toronto in 1949. Doris found employment with TD Bank in February of the same year. She held many positions with the bank and retired in 1989, after working for 40 years for the same company. Doris left Toronto and returned to Westville in 1992 where she lived her remaining life. Doris loved to skate, dance and was always the life of the party. She is survived by son, Norman Ritcey (Pat), and grandchildren, Heather, Darlene and Bryan of Edmonton, Alta.; sisters, Helen Robertson, Plymouth Park; Lorraine Rankin, Stellarton; Mona Almond, Colombus, Ohio; many nieces and nephews. She was loved and will be missed by her nieces Jennifer Thompson (Ric); and Joan Hallam who were both dear to her heart. She was predeceased by her brothers: Vincent, Robert, Harland and Lindsay. Visitations will be held 7-9 pm Friday at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Her funeral 1 o'clock Saturday from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with Rev. Doug Pilsworth officiating. Burial will be in the Auburn Cemetery, Westville.
