STELLARTON – Elizabeth “Lillian” Taylor, age 95, of the Valley View Villa, Riverton and formerly of Cambey Ave., Stellarton, passed away on Tuesday, March 11th, 2008, in the Villa. Born in New Glasgow, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Caroline (Langille) Johnstone. Lillian was a resident of Stellarton for 56 years and had been a guest of Valley View Villa for the past three years. She was employed as manger of MacNeil’s War Surplus. Lillian was a member of Christ Anglican Church, Stellarton. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are her son, Earle (Sonny) Mosher, Stellarton; grandsons: Earle (Butch), Ronnie and David; 13 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, George Mosher; her second husband, Arthur Taylor; brothers, Charles and Garfield. Her remains will rest in the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home for visitation from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, from where funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Aidan Kingsbury officiating. Burial will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens, Sylvester. Donations in memory of Lillian may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
