NEW GLASGOW/THORBURN - Enid MacDonald, age 97, of Valley View Villa, Riverton, formerly of New Glasgow and Thorburn, passed away Saturday July 14, 2007, in the Aberdeen Hospital New Glasgow. Born in England she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Amy (Ibbotson) Clark. She was member of Saint Andrew's Presbyterian Church, New Glasgow, and a former member of Union Presbyterian Church Thorburn. She was a member of the Allan Pollock AMS. She is survived by a son, David (Alice), Greenwood; daughters-in-law, Mary MacDonald, Munroe Ave. Ext.; Betty MacDonald, Plymouth; grandchildren: Susan, Mary Enid, Ronnie, Alison, Leanne; great-grandchildren: Darryl, Marlene, Nathan, Matthew; great-great-grandson, Hunter; and sister-in-law, Jean Clark, Windsor; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald K.; sons, Fred and Ivor; and brothers, Harold, Kenneth. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow, from where funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. Richard Sand officiating. Burial will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens. Family flowers only.
