Passed peacefully away at Cambridge Estates on Friday, May 23, 2008, on his 91st birthday. Predeceased by his wife Mary (Kearney/Byrne), parents Gertrude and Daniel Stamp, brothers: Gerald, Charlie and Daniel and sister Madeline Anderson. Leaving to mourn his step-children: Patricia Evans (Herb), Doreen Walsh (Mike), Geraldine Bouzane (Jim), Kathryn Fisher (Kevin), Patrick Byrne (Gloria); sixteen step-grandchildren; fifteen step-great-grandchildren; sisters: Gertrude Lawlor, Margaret Penney (Ed), Maureen Connolly (John); special nephew Ken Byrne; special nieces and nephews in Scotland, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, as well as his new family at Cambridge Estates. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Sunday, May 25 from 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Monday, May 26 at 9:30 a.m. from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist.
