GREENHILL ROAD - George Arthur Grimaldi, age 92, of Greenhill Road, and formerly of Little Harbour Road, New Glasgow, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2007, at the home of Nedra and Carl Wilson, Greenhill. Born in Saint John, New Brunswick, February 3, 1914, he was the son of the late George Joseph and Mary (Murphy) Grimaldi, and the step-son of the late Ramona (Ross) Grimaldi. George worked at Trenton Works during the Second World War, at Standard Clay for 26 years and the Town of Trenton and the School Board. He was an avid card player and enjoyed the opportunity to attend the many card parties in the area. He is survived by his step-sister, Stacia Fraser, Stellarton; extended family: Ross Chambers, Sylvester; Joyce Chambers, Greenhill Rd; Gary (Marg) Chambers, Braeshore; John (Ann) Chambers, Durham; Laurie (Debbie) Chambers, Stellarton; Lola (Jim) Tree, Pinetree; Nedra (Carl) Wilson, Greenhill Rd. He was predeceased by his sister, Charlotte Wylie; and step-sisters, Margaret Imlay and Irene MacEachern. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow, from where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday with Pastor Gordon Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens.
