ALMA – Hans Allan Eriksen, 59, Alma, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2007, at home. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Hans Christian and Havealena Elizabeth (Allan) Eriksen. Hans worked on the family farm, with Proudfoots Hatchery and the MacKenzie Farm. He especially enjoyed driving farm tractors. Surviving are his brother, John (Sharon Smith), Alma; aunt, Jean (Art) White, Stellarton; uncle, Claude Allan, Burlington, Ont.; step-niece, Jolene (Jonathan) Dunphy, Halifax. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Friday in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens, Sylvester with Rev. Jeff Lackie officiating. Family flowers only.
