Lillian Lawrence, 67, Lady Lake, Fla., and Waterside, passed away on June 2, 2007, in Orlando, Fla., in the M.D. Anderson Cancer Research Hospital. Born May 13, 1940, in Staten Island, N.Y., Lillian was a daughter of the late Emil and Sophie Olsen. Lillian was the beloved wife of Bob Lawrence, and loving mother of Ann Marie (David) McKeever of Newark, Del.; and David (Monica) Lawrence of Laguna Niguel, Calif. She was a devoted grandmother to her grandchildren: Patrick, Port Washington, Wis.; Bridget and Katie, Santa Cruz, Calif.; Daniel, Darci, Ethan and Addison, all of Laguna Niguel, Calif. She will be missed by her sister, Janet Cugini, Middletown, N.J.; and brother, Tom Olsen, Staten Island, N.Y. After marrying Bob in 1960, they spent most of their married life in California. Upon Bob's retirement, she and Bob spent their summers in Waterside where they made many friends. At Lillian's request, a funeral mass celebrating Lillian's life will be held in Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, Pictou, on Saturday, July 7, at 10 a.m., to be followed by a reception at their home on Lillian's Way, Waterside. Donations in Lillian's memory may be made to Pictou County Breast Cancer Foundation.
