Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, May 29, 2008, David R. LeDrew of Small Point, age 71 years. Retired Canada Postal Employee. Predeceased by parents Albert and Effie, sister June. Leaving to mourn loving and caring spouse Jean Milley; one son Michael (Jaime), St. John's and grandson Miles; one step-son David Milley (Margaret), step-grandchildren Walter and Melissa and their mother Bernice and Paul Milley; four brothers George (Anita), Frank (Lorna), Alex and Ron (Jo-ann); also a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, MAIN HIGHWAY, WESTERN BAY. Funeral Service to take place on Saturday, May 31 at 2:00 p.m. from Ocean View United Church, Broad Cove. Cremation to follow. Inurnment at the General Protestant Cemetery, St. John's at a later date.
