STELLARTON - Margaret Isabel Jeffers, 86, Foster Ave., Stellarton, passed away May 31, 2007 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Murrayfield, Pictou Co., she was a daughter of the late George Johnstone and Clara May (Bean) Brownrigg. Margaret was a resident of Stellarton for some 50 years. She was a former employee of Clairetone in Stellarton. She loved to do crossword puzzles and kept diaries about each day since she was a young girl. Surviving are her daughter, Darlene (Lloyd) MacNeil, Stellarton; grandchildren: Matthew (Jonessa), New Glasgow; Amy (Andrew) Walsh, New Glasgow; three great-grandchildren: Riley, Madison and Olivia Walsh; sister, Alice Baillie, Westville; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters: Freida Langille, Edith De LaMar, Hilda Cerbo; brothers: Harold, Herbert, Robert and Frederick and Charles in infancy. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday in the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home, Stellarton. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Bethel Cemetery, Scotsburn with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Margaret may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Fund or a charity of your choice.
