Marion Agnes Field – June 3, 1919 - Dec 14, 2007. It is with deep regret to announce the passing of my mother, Marion Field (Elwood) at the Birches in Musquodoboit Harbour, NS. She was the daughter of the later Peter and Mary Elwood. Marion is survived by her daughter, Joan (Loyd) Murray of New Glasgow, NS; and daughter-in-law, Lois Field of Aylesford, NS; grandsons, Keith (Noreen) Smith, Bruce (Twila) Smith, Terry (Donna) Field, David (Hanna) Field. Great-grandsons, Graeme Nickerson and Marc Smith, several nieces and nephews. She was an avid golfer and bowler and she loved her bingo games. Marion worked at the Harbour View School and was warehouse manager of Tupperware in Dartmouth. She was also active in the Senior's Choir. Marion was predeceased by her husband, William G. Field; sons, William and Patrick; sister, Florence; brothers, Peter and Jack; granddaughter, Diane Nickerson. She was the last remaining member of her immediate family. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth, where visitation will be held Monday 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held Tuesday 10 a.m., Rev. Patricia Malin officiating. Burial will be in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. Family flowers only. A donation may be made to The Birches, Musquodoboit Harbour in Marion's name.
