STELLARTON – Mary Winnifred “Winnie” Kellock, 77, of River St., Stellarton, passed away suddenly May 7, 2008, at home. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Miller and Reta (Hamilton) Duff. She had been a resident of Stellarton all of her life. Winnie was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Stellarton, where she was a former Sunday school teacher, member of the ladies guild and past president of the MacLellan Fraser AMS for twelve years. She was also a former member of Southern Cross Rebekah Lodge, Stellarton, the Stellarton branch of the Hospital Auxiliary and bowled for a number of years in the CNR Bowling League. In her younger years she was an employee of Woolworth’s Ltd in New Glasgow. Surviving are her children, Norwin Kellock, Stellarton; Colleen (Rev. Charles) McPherson, Stellarton; Cindy (Paul) Taylor, Plymouth Park; grandchildren, Melissa (Terrel) Agar, Toronto; Matthew, Plymouth Park; brother, Fraser Duff, New Glasgow. She was predeceased by her husband, Norval, son, Shayne, brother, Stewart Duff. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday in the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home, Stellarton. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in First Presbyterian Church, Stellarton, with Rev. Charles McPherson officiating. Burial will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens. Family flowers only. Donations in her memory may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Stellarton or the Alzheimer Society.
