It is with great sadness that we announce the tragic passing of Marilyn Elaine McCrea on February 25, 2013, after an unexpected illness. Marilyn is predeceased by her parents, Robert and Velma McCrea. Mom leaves behind her son Scott Patterson (Carrie); and daughter Jennifer Dickie (Jeff); and their father Gary Patterson; she also leaves behind her sisters, Judy (Gary), and Brenda; brother Richard (Nancy); grandchildren: Ashlie (Dale), Cassandra, Samantha, William, Destiny, Kiarra, Tegan, and Alyssa; great-grandchildren, Natalie, Jake, Hayden, and Jace; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunt, uncle and beloved friends. Marilyn loved people and could talk to anyone – which she usually did. Over the years, Marilyn was involved in numerous boards, charities, and organizations. Marilyn passionately gave untold time and energy to these worthwhile causes.
