Edward proudly served in the Canadian Air Force for 27 years at various locations throughout Canada and Europe, and then went on to serve as an auditor for 11 years at CFB Gagetown. Cape Breton held a special place in Edward’s heart. He always looked forward to a trip back home. In addition to his wife and parents, Edward was predeceased by his daughter, Colleen Ginter.
In keeping with the family’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 15, 2015, at 2 p.m. in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Burton with Rev. Lori-Beth Sheffield-Bowles as officiant.
