It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jim Smith in Kelowna, BC on Oct. 3, 2015. Jim was born in Regina, SK on Feb. 28, 1943. He was raised in Swift Current and graduated for SCCI. Much of his working life was spent in the area of insurance adjusting. Jim was predeceased by his parents, Nellie & Edmond Smith, and his niece, Kelli, as well as many aunts and uncles. He is survived by his children, Ryan (Laur) Smith, and Kristi (Jason) McCarty and their mother, Jan Smith, of Kelowna, BC, and by his beloved grandchildren, Jamison, Naiomi, Finlay, Rowan & Liadan.
