FARRELL, GRETCHEN B. The passing of Gretchen B. Farrell of Fredericton occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Friday, December 28, 2001. Born October 14, 1915 in Fredericton, she was the daughter of the late William Edward and Margaret (Grey) Farrell. Gretchen was employed at the former Marysville Cotton Mill, The Daily Gleaner, and the Polio Clinic at the former Victoria Public Hospital. She is survived by a special niece Elizabeth Aitkens and a special nephew Murray Underhill as well as other nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Although there will be no visitation, family and friends are welcome to attend a funeral service to be held at Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, on Monday December 31, 2001 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Laurie Fenerty officiating. Interment at a later date. Memorials to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
