GALLAGHER, MARIE LENA The death of Marie Lena Gallagher of Fredericton, wife of the late George Foreman occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Tuesday, April 23, 2002. Born in Maple Grove, NB, she was the daughter of Norman Charles and Lydia (Snow) Gallagher. Mrs. Gallagher enjoyed knitting and baseball. She is survived by one daughter, Kathleen Foreman (Leslie Harrison) of Fredericton; two grandsons, Phillip and Vance; three great grandchildren, Vance, Owen and Kristin; and several nieces and nephews. Besides herhusband and parents, she was predeceased by one son, George William Foreman; two sisters, Kathleen and Alma; seven brothers, Alton, Vance, Elwood, Clair, Delmar, Earl and Stanley and an infant brother. There will be no visitation or funeral by request. For those who wish, remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
