KITCHEN, MERLE F. "TOODLES" The passing of Merle Floyd "Toodles" Kitchen of Upper Kingsclear, NB occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Saturday, May 25, 2002. He was 74. Born in Kingsclear, he was a son of the late Earl and Edith (Mills) Kitchen. Merle was employed with the NB Dept. of Transportation for a number of years. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, fiddlehead picking, four wheeling and snowmobiling. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Pearl E. (Kingett) Kitchen; two daughters, Tammy Kitchen of Springfield, NB and Terri-Lee Kitchen (John) of Barrie, Ontario; two sisters, Georgie (Dordy) Goodine of Mazerolle Settlement and Juanita Kitchen of Hornby Island, BC; four grandchildren, Dustin and Jesse Boudreau, Chrishanda and Janell Fisher; nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents and one brother Robin. Resting at Second Kingsclear United Baptist Church where visitation will be held Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Second Kingsclear United Baptist Church on Tuesday, May 28, 2002 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Eugene Morell officiating. Interment in the Kingsclear Baptist Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Carmen Kelly, Hubert Kelly, Dustin Boudreau, Robert Boudreau, Joel Jordan and Lewis Chessie. Honorary pallbearers will be Eugene Kitchen and Ralph Howell. The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to a charity of your choice.
