October 1, 1929 - June 1, 2008. Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, June 1, 2008, Robert (Bob) Pitcher of Hopeall, aged 78 years. Predeceased by his parents Corbett and Lillian Pitcher and son David. Leaving to mourn with loving memories, his wife Pearl; his children: Audrey (Dennis) Lane, Barry (Sheila), Lorraine (Ivan) Williams, Barb (Martin) Wall, Craig (Judy), Mavis (David) Smith, Rick (Annie), Calvin (Carol), Rob (Colleen), Tammy (Steve) Boyer. Also lovingly remembered by nineteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sister Emily Thorne; brother Gorden Pitcher (Dorean). A large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Warren's Funeral Home, Dildo with visitation Monday, June 2nd, 7:00 p.m. until time of funeral. The funeral service will be held from First United Church, Hopeall, on Wednesday, June 4th at 3:00 p.m. Interment to follow at First United Church Cemetery.
