Clara Farrell
PICTOU LANDING – Clara A. Farrell, age 84, Pictou Landing Road. On the 28th day of January, 2009, with her loving family at her side, God called our Angel to join him and to be at her loving husband’s side. Born in Parrsboro, and raised in the Asphalt, Stellarton, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Ervin (Dunbar) Copan. She was a member of Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, Trenton. Clara offered love and joy to all who knew her. She spent her life giving selflessly to all who needed a mother, a home-baked treat, or one of her warm, beautiful smiles. A homemaker all of her life, she took great pride in her home and surroundings. Her polished possessions reflected her pride and none that entered her home could help but notice. Her blue eyes and golden heart will ever remain etched on those who were lucky enough to have met her. She has always been and will ever remain our shining star. She is survived by daughters: Clara Farrell (John MacInnis), Vicki (Greg) Royles; chosen daughter, Sharon (Wayne Huttges); grandchildren: Miranda (Jim) MacKenzie, Morgan Snyder, John Snyder; great-grandchildren: Justin Horton, Brooke Snyder, Alexis Snyder; sister, Manuella Little, Mississauga, Ont.; brother, Benvie (Judy) Copan, Ontario; best friend and cousin, Maxine Hachey. She was predeceased by her husband, John William Farrell; brothers, Leo and Dennis Copan; special friend and companion in her later years, Bill MacLeod. Cremation has taken place.
