PIERCY, DANA GUY The passing of Dana Guy Piercy, 57, of Fredericton occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Sunday, November 24, 2002. Born in Harvey Station, NB, on November 1, 1945, he was a Jehovah's Witness and was a farmer and woodsman. He is survived by his wife, Muriel (Mahannah) Piercy; his mother, Alice Swan of Harvey Station; four daughters, Sara-Jean Wilson (William) of Fredericton, Patti Piercy of Saint John, Jennifer Piercy and Rebekah Piercy both of Fredericton; four brothers, Walter Piercy (Linda) of Quebec, Leon Piercy (Leone) of BC, Barry Piercy (Anna) of Quebec and Scott Webb (Michelle) of Ont.; three sisters, Jocealyn Piercy, Betty Jean Coburn (Charlie) and Rosalind Piercy all of Ontario; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father, Walter Piercy. The family will receive relatives and friends at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1045 St. Mary's Street, Fredericton on Friday, November 29, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. Mr. Mark Farnswoth will officiate. Interment in the Harvey Community cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor's choice.
