SABATTIS, JOHN CARLETON The passing of John Carleton Sabattis of Kingsclear occurred at the Veterans Health Center on Saturday, April 26, 2003 at the age of 78. Born in Gagetown, he was a son of the late Michael and Mary Jane (Sacobie) Sabattis. He served in World War II as a member of the Canadian United Kingdom Continental York and the North Nova Scotia Highlanders. John was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #4. He is survived by two brothers, Arthur (Loretta) Sabattis, Fred Sabattis of Kingsclear; one sister, Bertha Clark (Elmer) of Houlton, Maine; several nieces, nephews and cousins. he was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Mary Beatrice (Paul) Sabattis; one brother, Charles Sabattis; one sister, Marie Scooks. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton where visitation will be held Monday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held from St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, Kingsclear on Tuesday, April 29, 2003 at 11:00 am with Rev. Mark Trzop officiating. Memorials to the N.B.
