VAIL, FRANCIS (FRANK) LEROY Francis (Frank) L. Vail of Brockway passed away June 19, 2003 at Harvey Community Hospital. Born at Brockway on February 28, 1926. He was a son of the late William and Ida (Davis) Vail. Frank farmed for a number of years and was also employed for more than twenty years at Briggs and Little Woolen Mill. He was member of Cherry Mountain Masonic Lodge and the Order of the Eastern Star Unity Chapter. He is survived by his wife Edna Vail; three step-children, Ian Briggs (Karla), St. Stephen, Dale Briggs (Ena), Harvey Station and Anne Stinson (Dr. Gordon), Harvey Station; a step-daughter-in-law, Nancy Briggs, Beaverton, Ontario; three sisters, Ruth Walker, St. Stephen, Pauline Theriault, Ottawa, Ontario and Patricia Maquire, Thunder Bay, Ontario; a brother-in-law, Goldie Martin (Muriel), Tweedside; eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Frank was predeceased by a brother, Jack and step-son Tommy Briggs. Resting at Swan Funeral Home, 1826 Highway 3, Harvey Station with visiting hours on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Harvey Station on Sunday, June 22, 2003 at 3 p.m. Rev. Bonnie Wynn officiating. Interment in Brockway Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ian Briggs, Wayne Vail, Larry Cleghorn, Bill Clark, Roy Brockway and Carl Vail.
