ELMER FRANKLIN (BUD) CARR

CARR, ELMER FRANKLIN (BUD) The death of Elmer Franklin (Bud) Carr of the Central New Brunswick Nursing Home, and formerly of Doaktown, husband of Audrey J. (Roberts) Carr, occurred on Saturday, December 27, 2003 at the Central New Brunswick Nursing Home. Born in Doaktown on June 4, 1920, he was the son of the late John and Jessie (Betts) Carr. Elmer was employed with the Canadian Pacfic Railway. A Veteran of World War II, he was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 23 of Doaktown, Honorary Life Member of the Doaktown Curling Club, and a Member of the Old Mill Pond Golf and Country Club. He was dearly loved by his family, friends, and everyone who knew him. He will be sadly missed. Elmer is survived by his wife, Audrey J. (Roberts) Carr; one brother Clinton Carr of Doaktown; two sisters, Leota Brown of Doaktown, Dorothy Carr of Doaktown; and by several nieces and nephews. Paul was predeceased by four brothers; Clayton, Floyd, Earl and John, one sister; Viola Carr. There will be no visitation by request. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 PM from the St. Thomas United Church, Doaktown. The Rev. Heather Froats will officiate. Interment will take place following the service at the St. Thomas United Church Cemetery.
