CURRIE, MICHAEL GREGORY The death of Michael Gregory Currie of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Friday, January 16th, 2004 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of Greg and Peggy Currie. Michael lived life to the fullest; he enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowboarding, watching NASCAR and spending time with "Nugget" his Golden Lab. Survived by his parents, Greg and Peggy of Fredericton, NB; maternal grandmother, Ruth Thibodeau of Presque Isle Me; paternal grandfather, Kenneth Currie (Carolyn) of Lincoln, NB; seven aunts and uncles, John (Faith) Thibodeau of Boston Mass., Kirk Currie of British Columbia, Mark Currie (Cindy Gallagher) of Keswick, NB, Kevin Currie of Lincoln, NB, Marlene (Ed) DeLong of Mississauga, ON, Cheryl (Michael) and Meghan Damm, Donna (Alvis) Violo both of Ontario; three step aunts; Lisa (Jeffrey) Wood, Keila (Thomas) Veno both of Fredericton, NB and Kimberly (Rodney) Purchase of Lincoln, NB; many great aunts, great uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his maternal grandfather Eugene Thibodeau, paternal great grandparents Hilda and Kenneth Currie. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Sunday, January 18th, 2004 from 4 - 9 pm. A funeral service will be held at the Lincoln United Baptist Church on Monday, January 19th, 2004 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Harold Sparkes will officiate. Interment will be held at a later date.
