GILKER, DOROTHY VICTORIA On February 22, 2004, Mrs. Dorothy Victoria Gilker of the Village Nursing Home, Campbellton, passed away. Born in Campbellton, May 24, 1916, daughter of the late Wesley Dobson and late Mary Ann Connell. She was a Sunday School Teacher, Youth Leader, Anglican Church Women (ACW) Corporation Member, IODE, Norther Light, Rebekah Lodge, NB Housing Board, Extra-Mural Hospital Board, Soldier's Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Restigouche Music Festival Association, School Board Member District #15. Progressive Conservative Association. Survived by daughters Diane (Lorne) Stymiest, Bathurst; Patricia (Dick) Burgess, Fredericton. Sons Bryan (Ellen) Gilker, Boiestown; Reid (Audrey) Gilker Listuguj, PQ. One brother Bill Dobson, Toronto, 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, special sister-inlaw Eileen Garrels. Predeceased by husband Edward, son Michael, sisters Opal, Jean and Muriel. Funeral at Christ Anglican Church, Campbellton, Wednesday, February 25, 2004 at 2 p.m. Resting at Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton, Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
